A little about me
I'm Juliette, a relationship coach and counsellor with more than twenty-five years' experience working with thousands of individuals, couples and teams.
Most people come to me because something in a relationship isn't working, and they've reached the point of wanting to do something about it. What I've learned, over the years and many hundreds of conversations, is that lasting change rarely starts with the other person. It starts with understanding ourselves: why we react the way we do, what we need, and the patterns we repeat without realising. It's from that understanding that change begins.
My path into this work has been anything but conventional. I began my working life as cabin crew, then I spent years in various well-known charities leading to two director roles. At the height of all that, I made a deliberate choice: I stepped into a more junior role so I could train as a coach, because it had become the work I most wanted to do.
I went on to qualify as a coach, then as a counsellor. I earned my Postgraduate Diploma in Facilitating Change and, amongst a good deal of other training, trained in Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication and with the Gottman Institute, one of the most respected names in relationship work. Everything that came before taught me how people behave under pressure, and how deeply we all want to feel heard and understood. By the time I came to this work, I understood people not just from books and training but from years of watching and living it myself: how we struggle, cope and connect.
I've had wonderful relationships, and I've known real heartbreak too, so this work has never been only professional for me. I understand, from the inside, how much our relationships shape us, and how life not going to plan shapes us too. What I've learned is that coming through these things can leave us stronger and more truly ourselves. And it's from that steadier, more grounded place that we start to feel better about ourselves: clearer about what we want, and able to love and connect with others without losing who we are.
People often tell me I'm warm but direct, and that I have a knack for getting to the heart of things quickly. You'll find the same in these courses: honest, kind, and never afraid of important questions.
For years I've worked with people in-person and online. I created these courses to make that support available to many more people than I could ever speak to, in their own time and at their own pace without needing to book a session or wait for a space.
It's all of that — study, training, experience and the years of real life — that I bring to the work I do now. Everything I'd want to share with you in person is here, built into a journey you can take whenever you're ready.
I'm so glad you've found your way here. Wherever you're starting from, you're in the right place.
